KAMISTAD

This medicine contains the active ingredient lidocaine and liquid extract of chamomile (Matricaria recutita L.). This medicine belongs to the group of medicines for the topical treatment of oral mucosa (the mucous membrane lining the inside of the mouth). It is intended for the treatment of the mild inflammation of the gums and oral mucosa.

Is Kamistad suitable for me?

Kamistad is not suitable for everyone. Do not use it

• if you are allergic to lidocaine or other amide local anesthetics, chamomile or any of the other ingredients of this medicine

 In particular, you must tell the doctor if:

• it is meant for a child under 12 years
• you are pregnant, trying to get pregnant or breastfeeding

Kamistad interacts with other medicines. It is most important that you tell the doctor all the medications and herbal supplements that you are currently taking.

How should I take Kamistad?

This medicine is available in form of oromucosal gel.

You should take Kamistad exactly as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist.

• Usually, you should apply thin layer to the affected area 3 times a day.

Do not use more of it, do not use it more often, or do not use it for a longer time than your doctor instructed. Do not miss any doses and take the medicine at the same time each day. Do not take two doses together if you miss a dose.
