AMOKSIKLAV

This medicine contains two active ingredients, amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic which belongs to a group of drugs called penicillin that are widely used for the treatment of bacterial infections by stopping their growth. Clavulanic acid is combined with Amoxicillin to prevent bacteria from destroying it. This medicine is prescribed for the treatment of bacterial infections such as infections of the ears, lungs, sinus, skin, and urinary tract.

Is Amoksiklav 2X suitable for me?

Amoksiklav 2X is not suitable for everyone. You must tell the doctor if you:

• are allergic to amoxicillin, clavulanic acid, penicillin, cephalosporins, or any other medications.
• have liver disease
• have kidney disease
• have mononucleosis
• are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or breastfeeding

Amoksiklav 2X interacts with other medicines. It is most important that you tell the doctor all the medications and herbal supplements that you are currently taking.

How should I take Amoksiklav 2X?

This medicine is available in form of a powder for oral suspension and a film-coated tablet.

You should take Amoksiklav 2X exactly as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not use more of it, do not use it more often, or do not use it for a longer time than your doctor instructed. Also, this medicine works best if there is a constant amount in the blood. To help keep this amount constant, do not miss any doses and take the medicine at the same time each day. Do not take two doses together if you miss a dose.

Like all medicines Amoksiklav 2X can cause side effects, including:

Common:

• mild skin rash
• diarrhea
• nausea
• abdominal pain
• vomiting
• indigestion
• gastritis
• generalized abdominal cramps
