Acyclovir is not suitable for everyone. Do not use it

You should use acyclovir only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The treatment should be started as soon as possible.
Do not use more of it, do not use it more often, or do not use it for a longer time than your doctor ordered. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose. You should take the forgotten dose as soon as you remember and then take the next dose at the right time.
